Park View Primary Wushu CCA introduces students to Chinese martial arts, focusing on discipline, strength, flexibility and coordinated movement. Students also develop confidence and Social-Emotional Learning skills through training, performances and competitions.

Overview

Wushu (武术) is a modern form of Chinese martial arts that integrates performance with martial applications. Training in Wushu focuses on speed, explosive power, and fluid, natural movements. Practitioners learn to harmonise flexibility with strength, combine speed with precise technique, and demonstrate discipline through controlled execution. In addition, students have opportunities to develop Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) competencies through internal school performances and participation in the National School Games Wushu Championship.
